Toby

Toby

Spotlight
Toby is a 5 year old, 54 lb Hound Mix. Toby was adopted from FFN as a puppy and is now looking for a new family without young children. Toby is a happy-go-lucky, tail wagging sweetheart of a dog. He loves to play with dogs (a beagle is his best friend) and has lived comfortably with a cat too. He loves walks and car rides; His favorite toy has a squeaker and attached rope. Toby is food-motivated so training is simple. He also loves peanut butter in his Kong toy. Toby would love a new family who isn't gone all day because he is not accustomed to that. He has so much love to give. Please give this guy a new leash on life!

This is Heidi, She is being returned to FFN because her Mommy has a medical condition that doesn't allow her to give Heidi the attention and exercise that she needs, Heidi's family really don’t want to give her up but have to do what is best for her. Heidi is about 5 years old and has many years to offer a new family. She has lived with a male boxer and there is a baby in the house. Heidi would love a home that is willing to take her for long walks and even some hiking on the weekends. By her personality we think Heidi is a Collie/Border Collie Mix. She really needs to lose some weight as she weighs 75 lbs. right now. Heidi will benefit from a training…

Gus

Gus

Update 3/1/2017. Handsome Gus (or as some call him, big, sweet, chocolate bunny) is coming along nicely with his training and is revealing more and more of himself. That being said, there is a gap in Gus’ life that we know very little about. When he was adopted and left rescue approximately a year ago, Gus was dog-social and a pretty easy going guy, although maybe a little shy. Gus is now leash reactive to other dogs (a very common problem for many dogs) when out on a walk. Also, judging by the way he walks on a leash, it seems that he had very little practice taking walks at all. The solution is simple but does take time and patience to correct. By the magic of classical conditioning, we…

ANGEL IS LIVING IN A KENNEL BUT THE SPACE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AFTER 2/18/17. WE HAVE NOWHERE FOR HER TO GO. Angel is a sweet, loving 5-year old American Bulldog mix. She loves to go on walks and ride in the car. She loves playing with toys, and is a proficient de-squeaker of the squeaky ones. Give her a bone with peanut butter in it and she is a happy girl. Angel is pretty much the perfect house dog. She is well behaved when she is alone…no chewing or eating furniture. She likes to snuggle on the sofa when it’s time to watch TV, But if you tell her not to get on the furniture, she will lay in her dog bed and chew on a bone or go…

This promotion applies to all primarily black (any age) and adult or senior cats (any color) adopted in March 2017 and to any adoption applications received for these fosters through March 31, 2017. Approx DOB: March 2006 Marshmellow, or Marshy as his friends call him, is hoping to find a loving where he can relax and enjoy your company. Marshy enjoys being with people. He loves to be petted and dotted on with your love and affection. He prefers to be near people and sleep with them at night, if allowed. If not, he’s content to find another place to curl up. Marshy is accustomed to spending a typical working day on his own. He has lived with a golden retriever and another cat and got along with both. Marshy does ok with kids but seems to be a little jealous when young kids are around. Marshy has a handsome all white coat and green eyes. He is in great health and has…

Approx DOB: December 2005 Hi! I'm Margaret! My family of nine years decided to have me euthanized because I needed surgery. But guess what? I found this very special human (who just happens to be a veterinarian!), who performed the surgery and now I'm as good as new! I am on a specific diet of canned cat food that I absolutely enjoy both in the morning and evening. I love playing with my foster families' cat and I am getting used to hearing my foster moms puppy bark (almost ALL day long!!). I spend part of my days playing with my toys (especially the small, pink yarn ball! It's my favorite!) The rest of my day is spent lounging on the bunk bed, taking in the suns' rays. When you…

Approx DOB: November 2014 UPDATE FROM DANIKA’S FOSTER MOM (JUNE 2016): Over the past few months, all of Danika’s kittens have been adopted and they’re doing GREAT. As a result, Danika can relax because she’s no longer in “mommy mode.” She has always been a very sweet little cat, but now she’s become VERY affectionate and interactive. She loves to rub her head against mine and she loves to talk now too! Dani is such an amazing athlete and she’s always ready to play. She is so much fun to be around, and the way she sits up on her back legs to play with her mice and springs is totally adorable. And, she occasionally does a slow-motion summersault, which is the cutest thing ever! She has so much personality…
